PETER LLOYD is a consultant in financial markets research. He is a director of Supporters Direct and a member of its England and Wales Football Council. He is also a Manifesto Club supporter and author of the Manifesto Club’s report Criminalising Football Fans: The Case Against ‘Bubble’ Matches.

AMANDA JACKS has been the Football Supporters’ Federations’ Case Worker since 2011. She is the first port of call for football fans who either have cause to complain about policing or stewarding at football matches or who may have been arrested and/or charged with an offence arising from a football match. After an initial consultation Amanda will, if appropriate, refer the supporter to a solicitor for further advice otherwise will assist the supporter personally. Amanda also works with several police forces and is currently working on an initiative that is hoped will involve supporter organisations in Safety Advisory Groups or at least see them recognised as ‘stakeholders’ able to make a meaningful contribution to how games are policed and stewarded.

MARTIN CLOAKE is co-chair of the Tottenham Hotspur Supporters’ Trust. He is also an author and journalist who has written about fan culture in football.

NETPOL is a collective of activists, campaigners, lawyers and researchers sharing knowledge and expertise to highlight and challenge disproportionate or excessive policing. It brings together different organisations concerned with both the impact of policing on protests and on local communities.

DULEEP ALLIRAJAH was a founder of the Libero network which campaigned against the hyper-regulation of football fan conduct. He writes for the online magazine spiked and Flying High, and Crystal Palace fanzine.

VAL SWAIN is a doctoral researcher in law at the University of East Anglia, and a long-time Cardiff City fan. She is also a founder member of Netpol, the Network for Police Monitoring.
